Sweeney Todd

This production of Sweeney Todd challenged me in all of the best ways. The Signature Theatre stage is a thrust that creates an incredibly intimate and almost 360 degree experience for its audiences. Creating for such a space had me constantly reshaping and reconfiguring each musical moment and transition to ensure that the story telling was focused and clear.

Our company was lead by two amazing actors and humans, Nathaniel Stampley and Bryhona Marie. I cannot imagine a better match and was honored to get to bring their Sweeney and Lovett to life.

Once again, I had the pleasure of working alongside director, Sarna Lapine, and Set Designer, Mikiko Suziki MacAdams. We have become great friends as well as collaborators and I’m excited to see what is next on our journey in the industry.
